Johan Samsing meets prof. Paul Steinhardt for a
Science Talk in Niels Bohr Office about his work on the Big Bang Model:

Paul Steinhardt is an American physicist, known
for his groundbreaking work on the origin, evolution and future of the
universe,

as well as his exploration of a new form of
matter, known as quasicrystals. He has been faculty at Princeton University
since the Fall of 1998, and he co-founded the Princeton Center for Theoretical
Science and served as its Director from 2007 to 2019. Paul Steinhardt has
received numerous prices including the Niels Bohr Institute Medal of Honour in
2020.

In this video series, Johan Samsing (NBIA) meets
7 outstanding scientists, each of which have made profound contributions to our
understanding of the Universe within the areas of black holes, gravitational
waves, early universe dynamics, and quantum gravity.

The recordings took place at the Niels Bohr
Office during the conference "Current Themes in High Energy Physics,
Gravity and Cosmology" held by the Niels Bohr International Academy from
Aug. 21st to 25th, 2023.
